Book a free talk for your community group

Do you or someone you know leak when they laugh? Have a problem down under? Or trouble with the pipes?

Feeling embarrassed to talk about it?

You are not alone. Did you know that 1 in 4 people around Australia experience bladder or bowel problems? The good news is that the majority of the cases can be better managed, better treated, even cured.

If you are part of a community group that would like information and advice on bladder, bowel and pelvic floor health and habits, we would like to help.

We want to spread the word that there is support and treatment available for these issues which are very common, but despite what many people believe, incontinence is not a normal part of ageing, nor having a baby.

As part of the Australian Government’s National Continence Program, the Continence Foundation of Australia is able to deliver free talks and presentations to community groups on all aspects of bladder, bowel and pelvic floor health.

Some of the groups we often deliver presentations to include seniors, sporting clubs, social clubs, people with disabilities or chronic illness, carers, new mothers and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Common topics include:

  • Healthy bladder & bowel habits
  • Exercising your pelvic floor
  • Caring for someone with incontinence
  • Exercises for new mum’s
  • Continence services in Australia

Why not book a talk or presentation for your group? It could start a conversation that could change someone’s life.
